As a mechanical engineer, you will be responsible for designing the vehicle’s key moving components, including the brakes, suspension, and steering system. Throughout the year, you will develop skills in creating innovative parts using CAD and simulating them in Ansys to ensure they can withstand the required loads. Furthermore, you will be spending a lot of time getting hands-on experience in assembling a solar car. Working with challenging requirements and high-quality materials your designs will play a crucial role in getting the car into optimal shape for the race.
