In September 2026, a new group of students from Saxion Hogeschool and the University of Twente will start their adventure as the newest team of Solar Team Twente.

A New Chapter

The next team also marks the start of a new chapter for Solar Team Twente. On March 3rd, you are very welcome to join our Reveal Event, from 12:30 to 13:45. During this event, we will take you into the future of Solar Team Twente and inspire you with an exciting keynote by an Aston Martin Formula 1 Engineer. One thing we can already reveal: we’re doing something completely different. What exactly? We’ll keep that a secret for now…

Building and racing with a solar car has many different challenges, but not all of them technical. Next to building the car, multiple members will work on creating an amazing team, concurring logistical challenges or the image of the team to the world.
