Since 1998 Wim Meijer is occupied with (medical) professionals. He does this in several ways: coaching personal effectivity and conflict management, mediation with conflicts within partnerships and coaching (groups of) professionals that have plans of working together.
From these varying angles, he has gotten a good picture of the problems that a lot of (medical) professionals struggle with regarding personal effectivity and how to deal with conflict situations.
His style of coaching characterizes itself through helping to become aware that everything that happens has to do with making choices. Furthermore, people often lose a lot of energy in trying to change issues that they have no influence over, instead of using that energy in situations where they can make the difference. In fact, this is already one of the most important choices you can make.
