My name is Colin van Laar, I’m 22 years old and the Team Manager for the next edition of Solar Team Twente. The combination of innovation, team spirit, and the competitive nature of Solar Team Twente were decisive for me to sign up for this great adventure. In the coming year I want to fully commit myself to having this great team finish first in Adelaide coming October.
My name is Mark van Eijk, I am 22 years old and I am the Marketing & Communications Manager of the team for the coming eighteen months. Lately, I have been very interested in sustainable solutions and projects, such as the Hyperloop and Lightyear One. After three years of the bachelor of Industrial Engineering & Management at the university, I decided to actually participate in such project. Joining Solar Team Twente gives me the opportunity to develop and improve professional skills, gain practical experience and contribute to a more sustainable future at the same time.
