The RED Engine holds third place and increased the distance with respect to the solar car on the fourth place. Tokai and Delft are still in position one and two. The team left control stop Ti Tree this morning at 8:17 local time. The team passed the halfway point on the road to Adelaide.
There are wind gusts expected later this afternoon. Solar Team Twente thinks that their car will be less affected than the asymmetric cars of Delft and Tokai. The night will be spend out in the open. It is not possible to spend the night at a control stop like the previous days.
