Solar Team Twente stays in Darwin since last Friday. All the preparations for the World Solar Challenge take place here, in order to drive a perfect race and to be the first in Adelaide to cross the finish line!
The team’s accommodation is a scout hall in the North of Darwin. This scout hall is fully equipped and there is a swimming pool available in the backyard to take a refreshing dive into the water after a hard day’s work.
The scout hall borders on the Charles Darwin University’s campus. On the campus is a workplace located where the team can refine The RED Engine. Additionally, the team can use all the facilities in the University’s library.
Altogether, Solar Team Twente has the perfect place to stay and perfect facilities in Darwin to prepare for an optimal race!
